OUR STORY
About Us

At Exploretography, we’re all about inspiring photographers to explore, create, and grow—together. Founded by Warren King and Mary Heern, seasoned photographers with over 40 years of combined experience, our mission is to build a supportive community where photographers of all levels can learn, connect, and be inspired.

Our background includes owning and operating a successful commercial studio, photographing thousands of weddings and families, teaching hundreds of students, and leading multiple photography communities across the country. That experience shapes everything we do.

Our journeys through the rugged beauty of the Southwest—often in our Jeeps, Ansel and Adams—fuel our passion for landscape photography and adventure. Through Exploretography we share our knowledge, host meetups, and provide a welcoming space for creatives to ask questions, improve their craft, and discover new perspectives.

Join us and become part of a vibrant community that celebrates photography, exploration, and lifelong learning.

Giving Back
As our portfolio of the Southwest grew, we started asking ourselves how can we bring a greater purpose to our images? In a time where food insecurity has affected nearly 10% of people worldwide, our goal is to “Picture a World Without Hunger” by donating our proceeds from print sales to help feed those in need.

We have chosen to donate proceeds of our Fine Art Prints at ForLoveandCraft.com and the images in our Picture a World Without Hunger shop to Midwest Food Bank. They turn every $1 donated in to $30 of food to help feed the hungry. In addition to donations, Warren and Mary love to volunteer at Midwest Food Bank location here in Arizona.
